The Thermo Plus thermal-activated NiTi alloy suffers microstructure transformation due to thermal variation. The arc be cooled becomes malleable and inactive. When it reaches the temperature of the oral environment (above 27°C), it acquires shape memory that generates orthodontic forces for dental movement.
